If you discover a FIRE:
Raise the alarm using the red ‘break-glass’ boxes
- The ‘EVACUATE’ fire voice alert will be heard

Attack the fire with an extinguisher, but only if it is safe to do so

Evacuate the building by your nearest safe exit

If you hear the VOICE ALERT:

“PREPARE TO EVACUATE” – be ready for further instructions

“EVACUATE” or the TWO TONE alarm - Before evacuating, without taking
risks, ensure that apparatus, fume cupboards and services are switched off,
or made safe.

Leave the building by the nearest safe exit, DO NOT use the lifts.

Assemble at the Evacuation Assembly Point outside of the East and West
Entrances.
